- Ellen C. Varney Ms. Varney is currently Director of Financial Services for the Risk Management Foundation (RMF) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Prior to RMF she was CFO of StoneGate and was integral to its operations. Ellen has more than twenty years of financial and management experience. Prior to her previous employment by StoneGate, Ms. Varney was Chief Financial Officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston, a leading Boston charitable organization serving more than 7,000 Boston inner-city youth. Ms. Varney also spent more than 10 years with John Hancock Financial Services in various capacities, including Chief Financial Officer of an investment subsidiary and head of finance for the institutional investment and pension group of John Hancock. Ms. Varney began her career at Citibank, N.A. in New York, where she worked as an economist, and then joined Federal Express in Memphis, Tennessee. Ms. Varney holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maine and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Memphis.
- John A. Ruggiero Mr. Ruggiero provides StoneGate with evaluative and management services in assessing potential investment banking mandates and other matters. Mr. Ruggiero is the former Vice Chairman, CEO and CFO of Telco Systems, Inc., an international manufacturer of telecommunications equipment for carrier markets. Prior to his tenure at Telco Systems, Inc., Mr. Ruggiero spent nearly 20 years in executive positions, including Chief Financial Officer at Lockheed Sanders in New Hampshire. Mr. Ruggiero holds a B.S. in Industrial Management and an M.B.A. in Finance from Boston College.
- Gregory L. White Mr. White is a partner in the Corporate Law Group at Seyfarth Shaw, LLP, a national law firm. Mr White serves as general counsel to numerous financial institutions and corporations. Mr. White specializes in providing corporate finance, securities law compliance, governance, and M&A advice to emerging growth companies, venture capital and private equity firms, broker-dealers and public companies. Mr. White received his B.A. from Hamilton College and his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law. Through Seyfarth Shaw and his prior firms, Mr White has been counsel to StoneGate since its inception.
