As of September 1, 2007 StoneGate Partners, LLC ("StoneGate") has always valued the trust our investors have placed in us, and we are committed to the responsible management and protection of our investors' personal information. We are proud of our privacy and confidentiality practices, and, in compliance with Title V of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (the "GLBA") and associated regulations, we want to you to know how we protect your information. We treat the information we gather about you in a confidential manner, and it is our policy not to disclose the information you share with us except as explained here.
Types of Nonpublic Personal Information We Collect
We collect nonpublic personal information about our individual investors and in certain cases their family members, dependents or beneficiaries (collectively, the "Clients") to help us serve our Clients' financial needs, offer new products, and fulfill legal and regulatory requirements. We collect from our Clients personal information such as their names; addresses; social security numbers; employment information; assets, liabilities, and other financial information; and information about their transactions with us and/or others. We obtain this information from the Investor Documents you must complete when making a securities transaction through our firm.
Parties to Whom We Disclose Information
For current and former Clients, we do not disclose to any third parties any personal information obtained in the course of our relationship except as stated in this Policy and as required or permitted by law. Permitted disclosures include, for instance, providing nonpublic personal information about a Client to our employees, and in limited situations, to unrelated third parties who need to know that information to assist us in providing products or services to you. In all such situations, we attempt to stress the confidential nature of the information being shared.
Protecting Confidentiality and Security
We retain records relating to the financial products and services that we provide so that we are better able to assist you with your needs and to comply with our own policies and applicable rules and regulations relating to securities transactions, including those promulgated by the Securities and Exchange Commission and the National Association of Securities Dealers. In order to guard your nonpublic personal information that we retain, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards. We also restrict access to nonpublic personal information about Clients to those who need to know that information in order to provide products or services to our Clients.
